It would appear that The Last Jedi is referring to multiple Jedi...
The reveal came via the Spanish Star Wars twitter account -
I can't pretend to be fluent in Spanish, but this is plural, apparently. This reveals very little really. Until this tweet I would have assumed The Last Jedi meant Luke, now we know I potentially means Luke and more. Maybe Rey, although she is probably a Padawan learner at best. Maybe Ben, but does he really qualify as a Jedi? More a Force user with questionable ethics. Is Luke a part of a larger Jedi community on Ahch-To? You see this raises more questions than it answers. Chiefly, why are these Jedi the last? Are they dying out? Is the order being retired in the interests of something greyer?
See? More questions.
Star Wars The Last Jedi hits theatres in December 2017.
