Seems so long since we had Sabine’s strongest episode yet as she came into possession of the Darksaber, trained and finally came to terms with what she needed to do, both for herself and for the Rebels.
Legacy of Mandalore continues this story to a logical conclusion. Sabine has come forward as a character. She further proves that she’s far from being just an artist as she would fight even her own family when it comes to what’s right.
There is great emotion to the episode but it’s also got plenty of action; action that, while it does take awhile to get going in a 20 minute cartoon (walking through the snowy forest) consists purely of Jedi and Mandalorians. So I think you know what that means. Lightsabers, jetpacks and blasters.
What else could you ask for?
Who needs space battles when you can just fly up to meet an oncoming ship yourself? It's great to see the white prototype Mandos again. People asking why Boba Fett is so cool? This is why. The armour.
Legacy of Mandalore cements Sabine as a great character as Boba. Now that the show has taken the time to really concentrate on her she has shone. Rebels for me has always been about Ezra but the other characters having their 15 minutes.
This was giving Sabine an hour.
Unfortunately it's probably a while before we see her and the Mandolorians again.
Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.
Thank you for reading.
