Lawrence Kasdan has told German magazine Bild that Han Solo: A Star Wars Story will be his final contribution to the saga, and he didn't even want to do that...
After writing The Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jone and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Return of the Jedi, you would think Lawrence Kasdan had done enough, but we get at least two more movies from the man before he goes back to shouting action and cut.
In an interview with a German magazine, ?Mrs Kasdan said the Han Solo standalone film will be his last. It's a project he shares with his son, Jon, so hopefully he can pass along a few secrets. Here is what the man himself had to say:
The four movies include The Force Awakens and the Han Solo project, so that's it; no more Lawrence Kasdan in our Star Wars. I think we can assume the "last one" is a reference to the Han Solo project he is working on with his son, Jon Kasdan. I'm not familiar with Jon Kasdan's work, but let's hope the father passes something onto the son in the time honoured Star Wars tradition.
